Sutherland Business Education Network (BEN)

Sutherland BEN Inc is part of the Australian Government’s Career Advice Australia network. This network supports all young people aged 13 to 19 in their transitions through school and onto further study, training or work.

We are the Local Community Partnership for the Sutherland Shire. Our role is to work closely with schools, businesses and the community to ensure that young people have access to the information, advice and training they need to make informed decisions about their future.

We facilitate vocational education and training work placements for all Sutherland Shire high school students.

Some 2,000 workplacement arrangements must be filled each year, to meet the requirements of local students undertaking any from the wide range of vocation courses as part of their Higher School Certificate.
