SSHED Hot Office Space for Shire Small Business

31/12/2010

Running one of the Sutherland Shire’s 45,000 home-based businesses and need an office in a hurry to impress a client?

Sutherland Shire Council is offering small businesses modern fully-equipped office space at its SSHED (Sutherland Shire Hub of Economic Development) at Loftus for small business for just $20 a hour.

SSHED’s hot office is great news for home-based operators who need somewhere for a private meeting or a place to impress a big client.

It comes complete with high-speed internet access, computers, phones, meeting tables and chairs, document printing and colour copying facilities, scanning and faxing and a fully-stocked kitchen.

“Small business doesn’t always need and can’t always afford the overheads associated with full office facilities, so SSHED’s hot office is an ideal solution,” said Sutherland Shire Council Mayor, Lorraine Kelly.

“Sometimes the local coffee shop isn’t right when you have serious business to discuss, and the hot office can give you the privacy and access to modern facilities you need for an important business meeting,” she said.

“Council is proud to offer this service as part of its ongoing support to the region’s flourishing home-business industry.

“Our Shire has significantly more than the national average of home-based businesses and these operators play an essential part in our local economy,” Clr Kelly said.
