"Get That Job"- Youth Workshop - FREE

A must attend workshop to learn about essential job seeking skills.
Part of Youth Week 2009 - this workshop will provide essential job seeking skills, from a Saturday morning job at the local bread shop for a 15 year old, to a part time job at the video store, or local bike shop, through to apprenticeship applications, to seeking and applying for a full-time job in industries such as: retail, commercial or office setting.

Time: 10am to 2pm
Venue: University of Wollongong Loftus Campus. Car park available at TAFE - adjacent to the venue

- * What are my skills, what am I good at, what would I like to do
- * Developing a CV
- * Making first contact with the prospective employer
- * Presenting “yourself”, your email and mobile phone, your letter.
- * Interview techniques, do’s and don’t of an interview, handling those “tricky” questions
- * Wrap-up and review
