Economic Development Committee
The Economic Development Committee supports the council's Economic Development Unit. The Committee objectives are:
1. to comment and advise council on pertinent business issues
2. to provide insights into how council can reform its operations to be more business friendly
3. to find ways for council to assist business development generally in the Shire (eg, planning reforms, land use issues, assess policy in terms of impacts on business)
4. develop strategic direction and policies for tourism in the Sutherland Shire.
